A LETTER FROM SIR PATRICK NOLAN

It is with a heavy heart that I must confirm the news that Kieran Broom has joined Manchester United for £33.7m in a 4 year deal.

Kieran, like me, has been a true servant of this club. Putting himself at the heart of the community and pushing the team onto new levels of excellence.

Kieran rejoins the club he started his footballing journey with many years ago. It was destiny (and money) that came calling - we couldn't turn it down. It's been a difficult season as a football club and business but with sales like this and that of Luna and Kevin - we can press on and secure 17th, despite what the bookies, mainstream press, independent journalists, experts and wider public predict.

The whole of Ashwood City thanks you for everything Kieran. You have been a Captain, a Leader and a Legend. We will never forget you.
