Following the 2-1 Premier League defeat to Brighton, Ashwood City have parted company with Head Coach Eric van Smit.
Ashwood City Football Club would like to thank Eric van Smit and his staff for their efforts in the 2019/20 Premier League season. Eric led the team to magical nights in the UEFA Europa League but due to the position the club finds itself in domestically the board have made the decision to seek out alternative options as First Team Head Coach.
Then this bit but jazz it up:
Everybody at the club from myself to the tea lady(?) wishes to thank Eric and his staff for their contribution to the Ashwood City project. An announcement on the Head Coach position will be revealed in due course.
